What to Expect

Waterfall Draw Example

  • The Draw is a modified waterfall draw. For example: the Mixed 6.5- will consist of 16 teams. There will be 8 initial matches and the winners will move into the 6.5- A Division and the losers will move into the 6.5- B Division. From there you will have the opportunity to win your division. Once you have moved into the A or B Division, if you lose in the first round, you will be fed into the consolation bracket of your respective Division. If you win your first A or B Division match but then lose at any point after, you are out of the tournament.

  • This guarantees a minimum of 3 matches per team and 4 for those that make their Division’s final in a 16 team draw.

  • If a draw maxes out at 4 teams, that draw will have a round robin with a minimum of 3 matches.

The Fostering Foundation

In 2008, the Foundation for Foster Children was formed to address the staggering and alarming statistics surrounding foster children in Central Florida.

As more than 60 children are taken from their homes and placed in foster care each month, over 2,000 foster children in Central Florida rely on child welfare agencies to meet their basic needs.

In a system with a very standardized approach for children in foster care, the Foundation for Foster Children is unique in Central Florida by creating meaningful connections through personalized support.
